These are the training shorts I 've always wanted. I generally hate shorts with liners because the elastic in the leg holes is irritating and annoying. I usually opt for linerless shorts and athletic boxer briefs. These are everything in one. The benefit of these shorts is that the outer shorts are attached to the inner liner. The pockets on these shorts stays put. I have another pair of Nike running shorts and the pocket liner pokes out the bottom when I put my phone in there. So annoying. [ These shorts are amazing! They have a built in brief liner that is snug without being restrictive. They feature two side pockets which work well for keys or a wallet when using casually, but I wouldn ’ t using them for anything valuable while running. There is a zip close back pocket that is large enough for your phone but not too big to where it will bounce around. I have worn these with leggings underneath and on their own and had no issues with chafing or hot spots. The drawcord allows a custom fit and stays tied even during my longest runs( 10+ miles). Of course, I appreciate that they have reflective elements for low light situations like dawn or dusk. I couldn ’ t recommend these shorts more!
