The highest resistance is n't as strong as on a more expensive machine, but I feel it enough when I 'm pedaling. Everything about the bike is phenomenal. I had the first version many years ago and the improvements to the bike+ are excellent!! I love the auto resistance feature, the incredible sound system, bigger screen, updates to the software and the overall aesthetic look of the bike. All the instructors are excellent. Do n't have a favorite, although I tend to gravitate to the women, because I 'm a guy. Lol. I use the bike for cardio vascular fitness and it's very easy to achieve that goal with all the motivating and entertaining classes.

I used to own the original Peloton Bike, but I gave it to a dear friend whose husband is battling cancer, and at the time, I also needed to make space after deciding to adopt a second child. Still, I always felt like something was missing. I missed the movement, the motivation, and most of all — Kendall and her powerful mental health rides. So many miles, so much sweat, and more than a few healing tears were shed on that bike. Eventually, I decided to reclaim a little joy for myself and repurpose our underused kitchen nook( we have a dining room we use more anyway). I got this bike as I am temporarily unable to run due to a neck injury. It was pretty simple to assemble( although some of the instructions were a little hard to decipher). All parts were in the box along with some tools to put it together if you do n't already have your own tools. SO far, I have used it daily and I find the motion is very quiet and smooth. I like the simplicity of the display and, for anyone wondering, you can reset each workout `` session '' by holding down the button and your session distance and time will reset. The bike does have an odometer so it will continue to track your entire distance overall, which I like. There is also a nice feature that the screen will toggle through all the items on the screen if you choose the `` scan '' option on the screen. Or you can just have it set to stay on distance or time so that is a nice feature to have a little flexibility. I also really like the back of the seat since, as mentioned above, I 'm dealing with a neck injury so I can sit back and not worry about needing extra support. The side handles are very nice too for when I sit back and peddle. An excellent bike for anyone looking for something without any extra bells and whistles that does what it should do at a very reasonable price.

[ Assembly- went together in leas than an hour once I got it all unboxed. Make sure that you assemble this where it is going to be used. It weighs quite a bit. This is great for stability, but not very mobile. Function- very sturdy and easy to adjust for size and resistance. There is a noticable difference in each step from 1 to 8. I also like the fact that the arm and legs can( and should) be worked separately. You can pinpoint the proper resistance level for each. Extras- The screen is functional and gives you the basics, but not much more and that is fine for me. I know what I want to do for my work out and dont need to pay for a tour guide. Quality- As I said this is a very sturdy machine and even though I have only been using for about a month I have no doubt that it will last.

I ’ ve got four 45- minute segments and it doesn ’ t give me the same accomplishment from walking outdoors in that same time without turning the resistance past 8 on the 14- levels dial, but I don ’ t miss my outdoor exercise when it ’s 22 degrees and 17 mph wind gusts make walking undoable. Quality of the bike manufacturing is very good. Seat is comfortable and the pedals are easy to secure your foot( adjustable). Pedaling is quiet and the distance from seat to pedal is variable by adjusting the seat height and should satisfy most riders. I have only used it for 5 days and the left side peddle has developed an annoying clicking sound from inside the bike main body. This is very noticeable at resistance settings 1 and 2. As I increase the resistance setting the sound seems to diminish. When I peddle backwards and then resume forward the clicking is gone for about a dozen rotations then returns. I ’ m 70 years old so I use the lower residence setting ’s more often. I use my head phones, crank up the music and tada…… no clicking sound I just feel a slight vibration when the peddle passes the specific rotation point. Easy to put together no real problem. Solid build, except for the clicking sound.

Took less than an hour to get it set up with bike attached and I am not someone who typically does my own work on my bike so removing the rear wheel was a new experience. Clear instructions, easy to follow. The most confusing part was trying to understand how to affix the included speed/cadence sensor to the rear wheel hub. The instructions for this are small, and images were not helpful but once I figured out the steps, it was easy. Was up and riding a couple training rides on Rouvy, using the included free month trial code, by mid afternoon. First impression is that I will be happily using this daily at least.

Love this bike! I ’ ve been using it for about a month now daily. You need the echelon membership to utilize exercise classes which is a bit annoying as it ’s an extra cost. Also, the bike was a bit confusing to build if you aren ’ t the best assembler like me, but the photo instructions were very helpful. I ’ d highly recommend this bike!

I 've not been one for working out at home until this bike. I use it everyday and enjoy all the classes I 've tried. It was easy for my husband to put together. Having the large attached screen is a big plus. No need to have wires for a phone or tablet. Adjusting the seat between 2 rides is very easy.

I bought this bike 4 days ago and I am obsessed. I was on the fence about buying it because of some of the poor reviews regarding connectivity issue, but I 'm glad I did. It was easy to put together( I was able to assemble it myself) and it was easy to connect. There are so may class options. You can join a live class or choose a pre- recorded class. I love the classes. Being able to compete for a good score really pushes me to do my best. I would highly recommend this bike.

I bought this bike at the local store in August. Previously I had a basic Sunny spin bike and I wanted to get more motivation, as well as stats. I read reviews for all of the connected spin bikes and this one seemed to fit my needs. The biggest negative reviews were on the connectivity, sometimes cutting out. When I first got it, I did have some issues with that, but after about 2 updates, I did n't have to think or worry about it connecting and having to reboot or unplug it. There is a huge list of rides and instructors to pick from, I 've found the ones I like. There are rides from 15- 75 minutes, with instructors and scenic. I 've found having instructors motivate me, especially my favorite ones- Jama, Christina, Nicole. I 'd recommend this bike for anyone looking to get a connected spin bike.
