I couldn ’ t be any happier with this jacket. I love that it ’s not heavy, bulky or stiff. The lining is just enough to keep you warm with out making you too hot when in your car or while shopping. If you ’ re an outdoor enthusiast where you ’ ll be out for an extended time in- 0 temps, I ’ d look for a different jacket. This one is stylish and plenty warm for short times out in mild winter weather. I normally wear a large in clothing but typically size up in coats so I bought an XL. I love the fit and feel. Very lightweight, which I wanted, as a summer weight jacket. The stretch improves the fit and feel over my other bomber. The only things I would change is; Add the original bomber style shoulder pockets and tool sleeves, maybe even on both sides. A velcro shoulder patches with a cover that matches the jacket fabric to hide the velcro if preferred. Stretch cordura or something cut resistant to protect in the shop against sheet metal edges or on the street for self defence. Hand pocket designed more like the original without the flap. Wish Carhartt still offered the fleece stocking cap with a single layer. Not so toasty so I can work hard like shoveling snow without sweating like the double thick cap would cause. But for times that I am not exerting while out in the cold, this is a great hat. I own several, and just bought another. You can never have too many hats; one in the truck, one in each winter coat, and one in my backpack. Great hat.

Very light weight. Packing compressed it a lot and it took a couple days for it to expand out. My first time wearing it was in 30 degrees and it kept me very warm. I am 5' 6 '' and a large was a good fit for me, especially for arm length. I am a little concerned about longevity because of how light weight it is, but time will tell on that. Material and stitching are top notch and the jacket is very comfortable to wear. I HATE the feeling of gortex and this has more of silky feel inside and out, which is perfect. For a general use winter jacket this is perfect.

I am 5 ’ 9 ” at 175lbs with an average build. The medium is not too loose and feels great!! The sleeves are tad long but not bad at all. I had the zipper catch a couple times over a past couple days, but that ’s me rushing. The cut works very well with my height.
