I do HITT training 4- 5 days a week. Legs get smoked some days. At 54, recovery is slower but I wear these and it makes a difference. Aches go away, lactic acid is under control and I wear them after long motorcycle rides, long car rides after the legs swell. I roll them up and travel on motorcycle with them. I really love this product. I owned the Normatec 3 before this for two years and got a lot of use out of them. The Normatec Elite makes traveling with the unit easier and much lighter. The compression sounds are a bit different and there is a lot more clicking and battery noise compared to the Normatec 3. I do appreciate how this model includes a carrying case in the form of a drawstring bag and the extended battery life makes it much more useful for an extended weekend. Bravo Hyperice.

I have been dealing with some patellar femoral knee pain. I purchased this because I know someone who has had knee issues and it's been a game changer. I can say from experience it's one of the best recovery devices I have ever used. I use the contrast therapy for post workouts and I feel it works. Its unique speed and consistency of changing from cold to hot multiple times is so valuable. The app has a ton of features I have not had a chance to use yet. I can say for certain it's a great piece of equipment. My only criticism is, the battery only lasts about 1 hour. So I 'm charging it more than I would like. Overall I would recommend 10 out of 10!

I fell while sprinting on tile and landed on my knee. Three months later there was still swelling, stiffness, and scar tissue. I ’ ve been using this device for a few weeks and feel like it has been an integral part in the improvement I ’ ve had since doing the contrast therapy routines. It hurt so bad to even roll from one side to the other in bed and I couldn ’ t put any weight while kneeling on the injured knee. Now, I still have a ways to go but I am SO much more active than I have been since I got hurt. I ’ ve been telling everyone I know about this including my physical therapist. She started showing the other physical therapists because she was so impressed with the cooling. This device is very comfortable. I 've been using the product for about 6 months( 5 months prior to buying my own). It had been amazing. The ability to enjoy different programs from the app, and the levels of cold and heat are amazing. Best of all, I do n't have to keep it plugged in to enjoy. The only negative I could see is that the battery does seem to be very short when enjoying the product, but it's you think about it, you get several 15- 20 minute sessions before you have to recharge it. Medical professionals recommend for pain and swelling to ice/ heat for about 20 minutes. So, the battery is really not that bad, but we would all like to have more time when experiencing something so therapeutic. A car charger would be a great accessory. Overall, I love it!! I started working out again and my hip was killing me. I do have hip dysplasia and my trainer recommended me to use this before and after my workouts at the gym. Well, I decided to purchase one so I could use it at home since it helped so much when I was at the gym. I continued to use it whenever my hip pain flared up again it definitely helps more than taking Advil or pain relievers. Warning though, you definitely have to have to roll right on the area that is the root of the pain. It will seem to hurt more for a bit but then subside. I also use this for my back. I bought this ball at Dicks about a year ago. And i have yet to use it for my feet! Little did i know what this little wonder could do for my hands!!! I work with my hands always, and the stress and strain can be brutal. Gripping, pulling, pushing all day can take its toll. I 've actually gone to one of those mall,( asian) massage business's just to get hand massages. And they were great, but wondered why i would just go in just for my hands. The pro- tec is about 5 ” diameter so it takes up very little room. It works great on the floor or against the wall( for more control of how much pressure you put on the ball).
