Just the right amount of warmth without turning into a sauna. I have rode with these in the single digits night riding and have been comfortable. Reminds me of wearing my 510 trailcross shoes. Having previously owned a pair of Timberland SmartWool slip- ons that were wonderful to wear, I gave the Mt. Maddsen slip- ons a try. They did not disappoint. The leather uppers softened and molded themselves to fit my foot so they have become my preferred shoe for working in the yard as well as hiking. They shed water well and the thick soles keep my foot out of puddles in the rain. After 2 years of hard use( I write this in 2024) the soles are worn, but no separation at all from the leather uppers. Very well made.( This is for the model A6660 made in Vietnam)

My son hates when the boots are so narrow that the lining comes out every time he removes his foot. The opening is large and easy to get in and out. Plus, it has the string on top that can be pulled to make it tighter. Would buy again.

I bought these for my daughter to use on our snow adventure. The price was great. They fit true to size and kept her feet warm and dry over 3 long days of snow play and sledding.
