So far these have been great in the cold, snowy winter. They seem to be waterproof as advertised and are relatively comfortable. They work well for shoveling and are comfortable enough to wear to quick trips to stores, etc. I would n't want to wear them all day long. I specifically went with the all black version of these since they look like sneakers not something you 'd wear to climb Everest. I recommend them.

I like these a lot: They have a nice wide/not too wide footprint. They have good ankle support. They have great traction. They are very comfortable. The waterproofing worked well( as it should because they are new). My only complaint is that padding on the ankles makes them pretty wide at the ankle and that tends to catch debris and funnel it down into the shoe... so they are not my pick for places where there is a lot of trail debris.... or perhaps I should have used gaiters. But they are perfect for wet, slippery, or dry trail conditions and casual wear. To me, the picture makes them look like they have green trim: They are shades of grey, not green-- I was pleasantly surprised by that, and I think they are a good- looking pair of shoes.

I was in the market for a no lace, low cut outdoor shoe. This Merrell shoe is comfortable and true to size. It is said to be waterproof, but I have not been able to test that out yet. I have a hiking/trekking shoe problem( name the brand, I might have 2 pair), and if I had to pick only ONE, to wear every day.. doing every thing.. for eternity... it's got to be this one. Sizing: I 'm an 11. 82, medium. I have the greys size 12 here. Great fit, there 'd be extra room if needed. Toe box remains roomy due to lacing grid, but it's welcomed. Nothing thicker socks/insoles ca n't fix of course if it pleases you. Closest thing to a barefoot shoe that I 've put on and liked. They call this a barefoot and I wo n't put up a fight, but they seem pretty tall( FOR a bf shoe). In any case, it's close, and I do love the grounded feel, but only because the tread is so supportive. Ya know how most shoes are either very technical, or, `` go straight! '' etc etc? These, you 're just kind of, surfing B) What's the Catch?... 1) I 'm aware of some longevity concerns w/ tread, but I 'd imagine the give- or- take goes to the shoe FTW- anything reasonable would be worth it b/c the shoe is that great. 2) I 'd be lying if I was n't a bit concerned about the construction of the eyelets- they give the impression that too many tough yanks will make them angry. Worst case, you can craft some metal loops into the shoes, and gives you a reason to visit w/ your local tailor and share stories:)

The black Merrill Mid Wrapt Barefoot Hiking Boot is great. I wear an 8 in most shoes, but I use orthotics because of my high instep arches, so I went one size larger and with my black Thorlo roll top socks they are very comfortable and fit perfect. I have arthritis in both knees so I needed a flat sole like a tennis shoe. These barefoot waterproof hiking boots are great and keep your feet warm. After a horrible experience with the migrating foam in the footbed of a previous leather- upper Merrell, this was a gamble... but so far it's been great. Incredible cushioning, great fit. A few unexplainable hard spots on the uppers noticeable only on steep side- hills. Now on to the desert sand.

Got these in low top. These are great! Coming off a pair of Moab 2 lows for hiking I feel these are a definite upgrade in looks and comfort. I think Merrell hit the nail on the head with the styling, I actually am tempted just to wear these as a daily without hiking in them, I do n't want to get them dirty! They look fantastic with jeans. Also note that these leather ones are more comfortable than the Speed 2 Goretex version... I tried on that pair and the cut outs for the ankle were higher and rubbed my ankle. There is no rubbing on these, however they are slightly heavier than the Speed 2 goretex. I imagine because this uses leather.

Great hiking shoes. I love that it is easy to clean the smudges off when I go walking on trails. The soles are a bit hard and will need to get used to. There are no need to tie up the laces which I like since it won ’ t come loose. You can still adjust them though.

I like how lightweight these shoes are, to function well for hiking as well as generally walking and running around. They are adjustable with the bungee and comfortable for hours, especially as someone who has narrow feet. Sooo comfortable, the on and off mechanism is great, they ’ re sexy cool and the “ platform ” effect gives you some( super stabilized!) height and elongation. I got the gortex one and am so happy I have a pair of white shoes I can wear in the rain now. 100% worth the investment. I ’ m between 7. 5 and 8 and I got the 8. Maybeeee could ’ ve even gotten the 8. 5 if I want to wear super thick socks in the winter.

Bought these just as they came out and I am very happy with them! I have now 3 different pairs of Wrapts, and they all fit perfectly, and I will say my feet never hurt! I wear the wrapt sneaker style for my everyday shoe and the style is on point. Has a great retro 80s vibe that I do like. The color( Dark Ivy) is a great color and goes with everything I wear. I am actually tempted to buy the blue color as well! Overall, very pleased and so are my feet! I wear a 13mens and these run true to size!

I really like Merrell's barefoot shoes as I 've had a few pairs of Vapor Trail Gloves over the years. I switched it up this time with the Wrapt Sneaker because I wanted a more casual look. I love the look of these shoes I bought in blue. My wife made fun of them, she thought the color reminded her of Grover or Cookie Monster from Sesame Street. I 'm 50, so I do n't care what she thinks. I think they look cool and I 've gotten compliments on them from others. Mostly, people this the sole is cool how it wraps around onto the upper part. I 've taken these boots on multiple 10+ mile hikes now and can say I absolutely love them. They 're very comfortable in steep terrain or for long scrambles. I 've worn them in snow, rain, and hail and can say they 're definitely waterproof! Everyone is different when it comes to boots but Ive had Merrell hiking shoes and sandals and I know Merrells fit my feet well. These boots were no exception.

I work outdoors and walk tens of thousands of steps every day in every possible type of weather. I 've tried boots from several other brands/stores, and finally, after hearing me repeatedly complain about said failed footwear, my brother recommended Merrell. I 've only been wearing them for a few weeks, and while my feet have been delightfully dry( yes, they 're 100% waterproof even in standing water), I 'm wary about whether or not they will last as another brand or two also managed to keep themselves together for a few short months before disintegrating miserably and proving themselves not worth my money. So, while I 'm cautiously optimistic that my Merrells will outlast their competitors, I can confidently say that these are unequivocally the most lightweight, comfy and waterproof boot I have tried. Did n't even give me blisters as they broke in! All around, I 'm in love with the boots and am just desperately hoping their longevity is as impressive as their first impression.

Love these boots- great for Fall style and chillier/wetter weather. I love the `` chunky '' style and they are substantial without feeling heavy and super comfortable as all my Merrell boots are. I have the Black/Pine which added a pop of color and fun to just a boring black boot- but am thinking the chelsea could be a great option for a quick slip on as well!

I really like these! I originally purchased the green/black color way but they did n't quite match my wardrobe. These bring the cool/athleisure/hiking vibe without being too rugged to wear or style. I love them with leggings and they look cute with straight- leg jeans as well. I will say they 're not the most breathable shoes, but I do n't expect leather shoes to be that. Really excited to wear these in the fall, and excited to have a white boot that's not suede that will be easy to take care of. Definitely recommend. I also appreciated the ease of the exchange process.

I was so excited to find these hiking boots from Merrell. Their brand never fails me. I was anxious to get out for my first hike in them. They are strong, supportive, and my feet do n't get tired. There's no fatique after hiking. Even a long 5 mile hike. Hiked over rocks, and I could feel the support. No slip! For me, I would wear these all four seasons with the proper socks.
