This jacket is really comfortable. The overall quality is great. The material is soft and it is fairly warm on a brisk day. The exterior pockets have a lot of space and can hold a decent amount of items. The inside zipper pocket is a good size as well. The outside material is softer than expected which is nice. Love this jacket. I was worried about the reports that it's `` short '' I 'm 5' 9 '' with a longer torso and short legs( 30- 32 inseam) and the jacket came to just below my belt line. It's definitely a jacket for car camping, walks around town, etc. This IS N'T a summit series jacket and is defiantly not built as a belay jacket which I think some get confused. For me, after hitting the slopes and a bit sweaty, I pull this out of my pack, fluff it up( it folds into its own pocket and packs very small) and put it on going in and out of the lodge before the sweat get cold and drops my body temp.

I love the versatility of this piece. l enjoy the vest, especially once I determined how to create the vest that it can change into. This is one of the more convenient running items I have ever purchased and I love it. I also like the fit, as it sits right on the waist area. I usually prefer for these to go slightly below the waist, but this one is nice as is. If you are running and get too warm the ability to change it to a vest is so convenient. This will allow you to not have to drop the piece off at some random location during a race to have to come back and find, hopefully no one has taken it.
