I ’ m on my second pair. They last about 14 months for me. But I truly don ’ t mind because these are by far the most comfortable deck boot/shoe whatever you wan na call it that I ’ ve worn. I compare the soul of the boot to one of the “ helm pads ” that are nice and squishy and comfy to save your feet back and knees on those nasty days running in a 27 ’ cc. With these no matter where you stand you have a helm pad under your feet. My last pair was over 2 years although they were hammered. Just picked up another pair and fitted them with some custom insoles. Very happy with this boot and will probably pick up another pair in 2 years. The sole wears somewhat quick but thats what you get when it's a non- slip sole that doesnt track mud everywhere. These are the most comfortable work boots I 've ever had. I 've been wearing Timberland Pro's for the last 8 years but decided it was time for a change because there is n't enough protection from corn formation. With these I do n't feel rubbing on the top of my feet. The cushioned wedge makes it easier to be on my feet for 8- 12 hour long days. The strings are light weight and do not dangle ridiculously long they 're perfect. The only thing I would love for them to add is a cushion barrier on the inside of the boot that wraps along the ankle. Bought these since I moved from AK over to the east coast. Wanted something lighter and a bit more breathable than the womens legacy boots. I wore these everywhere. Gardening, hiking, walking the dog 3+miles a day, to work, doing errands, slipping them on in the early morning to pick up dog poop. These were easy to slip on and off. My feet stayed dry. In the dead of summer, they can get a bit hot. My regular running shoes are even hot! but overall my feet did not overheat. The shoes had great traction. It's been about a year and they are still great. I may have worn down the soles from so much use. My only con is: the foot cushions might stick to your bare feet if you do n't wear socks.

Let me start off by saying I am a true 6. 5, never a 6 and very super rarely a 7. I used their size chart and measuring guide and found that I fell between the 6. 5/7 so I decided to size up and I 'm glad I did. I have just enough room around my toe in the box, and my heel has just enough space to move until they really get soft and cozy. I also have bunionettes, and sizing up with a regular width is definitely giving them some room. They are very comfortable on my feet. I decided to buy a new pair of winter boots since my previous pair( from a different brand) kept giving me blisters. One of my professors used to be a Timberland exec and he always raved about the quality of the shoes, so I decided to try them out. I ordered 2 different styles of winter boots, each in 2 sizes. I did n't love the roll- top boots, so those promptly got returned. I ended up keeping the size 9 of the 6 '' waterproof-- the boots had a clean look and the leather is well sewn and finished, I 've worn them to work and they do n't look out of place with my button- up shirt and slacks. The boots feel a little heavy while wearing them, but honestly I prefer that since they feel more durable and rugged. I 've since worn the boots both with and without thick winter socks and had no problems. They were comfortable from Day 1 and have n't given me blisters. My biggest gripe is that the shoelaces are too short- even when I lace the boots as tightly as possible, I am left with maybe 3- 4 '' of lace to tie with. The 6 '' roll- top boots I returned had longer laces than these despite having a similar style, so this was a disappointment.

I just purchased these sneakers and I am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these shoes are. I have never had any safety toe shoe or boot be this comfortable. I also like the fact that you can slip them on and off without having to tie and untie them every time, which is super convenient for the application for where I am wearing them. When I first got them out of the box they felt heavy but when they are on your feet they are not heavy at all but like wearing regular sneakers with the benefit of the safety toe. Great fit, easy on and off but stays put while moving around, these are definitely stretch fit, the laces seem to be decorative in my opinion. Materials seem durable so far, I especially appreciate the extra protection around the `` accidentally kicked a pallet corner '' area. The soles feel like I 'm standing on a fatigue mat even when I 'm not. If I had to complain the outer side of the arch support is very high which has been painful for the first hundred hours or so of wear but it's getting better as it collapses. Overall a much lighter and comfortable alternative to the traditional steel toed work boot.

I am sad to admit I am sitting in my work truck with my boots off because my feet are soaked after 4 hours of work... my rain pants busted out the whole rear end from the poor seams. I was thinking about getting XtraTuf boots for a long time but never had any reason to until I started needing a waterproof boot that wasn ’ t a full tall winter boot. I ’ m glad I got them. They aren ’ t breathable( as I expected) due to the waterproofing of the boot, but the fact that they are short boots helps them breathe a little more than a tall boot. They are very comfortable and I have even wore them for short hikes because I decided not to change my shoes. They have quickly became my everyday winter shoe/boot. I love the purple color, it is so fun, but when mud splashed on them it stays visible until you wash it off. The one time I did scrub them off they did clean up relatively nicely, but if you want an easier maintenance boot, I would get a darker color.

To be precise, I measure 23cm so technically a 6, and after going up a whole size, I found that they ’ ll be okay to wear with thinner socks( especially once I break them in). I ’ ve been wearing these boots for about a month now and have nothing but great things to say. I would recommend these to anyone. I don ’ t have a particularly wide foot but I like to wiggle my toes a lot and the toe box has plenty of space for that. I used their online foot sizer with my foot as flat as possible and my toes spread out as wide as I could get them and was recommended a 9. 5 wide, they fit perfectly. Very well made. You can tell they are individually crafted in an old school manner and not just spat out in mass numbers and I love that. The leather is heavy duty and beautiful, I get compliments on them wherever I go.

[ you wo n't be disappointed, if you have a little wider foot these run wider than most boots. Been wearing this style for bout 7 yrs now was wearing another style with a vibram sole but once I seen this style with a different sole I thought it would be better for walking on concrete and asphalt a smooth surface at work all day... has a soft sole.

This is my 4th pair of Georgia boots. They are made well and hold up well for what I do. Also this pair is the Steel Toe version of my Soft Toe boots- 10 years a part you wouldn ’ t know the age difference if it weren ’ t for the Steel Toe. I have tried thorogoods, wolverines, and red wings all at 2- 3x the price of the boots, and these have consistently lasted longer for a much better price, the soles wear at a much slower rate and the leather does n't fall apart like others I have used. I do heavy construction and spend all my time in a machine or in the dirt and rocks and have been unable to find a higher quality pair yet.

Must say so far so good. Have had them less than a month but break in period was short and boots have been a comfortable addition to workday. On my feet a lot and was concerned I would not have same comfort as previous boots( had for over 12 years). A little early to comment on durability but have faith in the Carhart name. This is my third pair of Carhart's 6 '' Soft Toe Work Boot. I love them. They are tough, long lasting and comfortable. I use them for my everyday foot wear except dress occassions. I even take my daily four mile walk in them. I hike in them and hunt in them. For me, they are the best boot I have every owned in terms of quality. When properly maintained, they are water repellent. This would n't have been my third pair if I was n't completely sold on this Carhart product.

Big fan of these boots. Love the color and the fit. They are a little heavier than the sport version but I liked how these fit more snug around the ankles so my heels don ’ t slide as much. I ’ m a new mom with a winter baby in the PNW and these slip on and off so easily. They removed a barrier in order to get me outside. Also helpful when walking the dog in the rain.

I bought these boots 4 years ago and they held up very well against all the abuse I put them through working at a lumberyard. The insoles are like walking on clouds, the boots never let water in, and the toe let's you get a pretty good kick in on whatever piece of lumber is n't going quite where it should be. I bought these for work, but they eventually just became my go to shoes because of how comfortable they are. I wore them everywhere, work, the grocery store, dates with the wife, you name it, those boots were there. The only reason I got rid of them was because the bottom sole tore itself off of the rest of the boot. I guess all good thing do have to come to an end eventually... Overall, very very nice boots, I recommend them to everyone that asks.

Had these for over a year now and there are a lot of hard hours on them. They are still my go to but the tread is almost gone, but still plenty of traction. Initially I purchased them just for work but I like them so much they are all I wear. I have to admit the yellow over molded rubber on the sole looks nice but it sheds pretty easily and that was a disappointment but they have been such a good boot that I still give 5 stars. Will definitely order more of them. Extremely light, and comfortable yet very supportive and rugged.
