There's a little more of a heel lift to these vs. the Altra Olympus, but not much. They run pretty wide. Thirty years ago I suffered a severe mid foot crush fracture which is now arthritic combined with areas of non- union. I have worn Morrell Moab 3 ’s for many years with orthotics and had the best support possible, but the antora has given me amazing pain free ambulation while walking our rural property and roads, as well as while shopping and walking the dogs. The shoes are lighter weight, still offer excellent support especially mid- foot, with quicker and easier breakover which makes an enormous difference to my gait and comfort. I wear them as daily shoes and they have excellent traction in all the wet and slick spots that are pretty common this time of year. [ I used to be a loyal fan of New Balance 940s, and then they got discontinued. I bought a couple online before they all disappeared, and then I finally wore them all out. I could n't find any other shoe in New Balance, Asics, Brooks that had similar stability, arch support and cushioning. It was disconcerting. I had a total knee replacement a few years ago, so all these new foam sneakers that allow the back/heel of the shoe to rotate laterally are not good for me. I finally decided I had to come up with a new approach to finding a sneaker. I saw these sneakers and thought, hey! If this is for trail running, then it's got to be made with better stability. I gave it a shot and was so pleasantly surprised! These sneaks have good arch support and have cushion that seems resilient vs. the cheap foam in a lot of new sneakers that just compress. There is good stability to prevent your foot from rotating side to side in the heel. I walk my dog at a fast pace 2x per day every day for about 30 minutes each, so I put on miles pretty quickly. Seems to be holding up pretty well! The logo is a bit large for my taste, but that's just cosmetic. The only thing that's a little odd is the material, which seems like maybe it's less breathable in the toe box area vs. the average sneaker. However, I ca n't really tell because it's still cold out, so when it gets warmer I 'll have a better idea of that. Overall, pleasantly surprised and very happy to put them on my feet every day!

I love Merrell Moab ’s, wear them every day and have 5 pair. But as hot as this summer has been, I wanted a pair of lighter weight shoes. I started with Merrell styles, but had no luck getting a good fit for my problem feet—a neuroma and plantar fasciitis on one foot and a bunion on the other. I also tried styles from all the highly rated shoes for walking, including those with gel insoles. They all bothered my neuroma, and the gels were so bouncy they made me feel a little unsteady on my feet. I 've had these Leikis for a month now and still love them. I wanted something for urban dog walks that would keep my feet dry in rain and puddles but with enough traction to handle light trails. Perfect for shoulder- season weather when it's wet but not yet cold enough for heavier boots. They 're lightweight and cushy. At the store, I compared these to the Versacore. The Leiki is more snug around the heel and arch, but the toe box is still roomy. The Leiki toe box also has more structure and kept its shape, while the Versacore would crease and press against the top of my toes with each step which I found annoying. I liked the lower heel height of the Versacore, but ended up going with the cushier Leiki which seemed to also have more structure for ankle stability.

Recently purchased these as a light hiker for dog walks on trails. I have a couple of foot issues that require a wider toe box and these delivered. I find them to be comfortable, roomy in the toe box but still snug around the heel to prevent slippage. They also fit my custom orthotics perfectly. My feet are cushioned and they never hurt after a long strenuous hike where the others left my feet screaming after only a few miles. The breeze are super lightweight too! I sincerely hope that Vasque does n't discontinue the Breeze LT GTX. I 've had a pair of clunkier Vasque's and a pair of Merrell's and these outperform both hands down. I 've worn these in the winter with a thicker pair of socks and in the summer with a thinner pair of socks over the last year of having them and they hold up great in both( although not designed as a winter/snow boot). Hiking summers in Boise desert heat is hard, and these have not once given me a blister, been uncomfortable, or made me question my footing. Everything about them is phenomenal! I recommend them to all of my friends and will continue to buy more pairs. Now I just want more color options please!:)

I bought these for a photography trip to Iceland. As with all my Vasque boots, they fit right out of the box. I hiked on rocky hills and through streams and wet sand beaches and they were a dream. Fully waterproof and comfortable after 12 hour days. Loved they were so much lighter than other hiking boots. Tread on bottom gave sure footing on wet rocks. I couldn ’ t have asked for more!

[ I 've only done about 20 miles in these boots so far, but am VERY happy with them! I read reviews all over the place and decided to follow the advice of ordering a half size up, I will always have to wear a thick sock with them but feel it was still the right way to go. After reading the reviews I was a little concerned about the `` strange arch support '' mentioned by many. I was worried it was going to be similar to Chacos, which I cant wear because of the large arch support, however it's not like that at all and gives more support under your heal( not sure how to best explain this(:) and I find it very comfortable. These seemed pretty stiff at first but after one 5 mile hike they loosened up and feel very similar to a tennis shoe. I do have to mention that the heal box is oddly large, this does n't seem to be an issue for me, but thought I would mention it incase it would be helpful to someone else. All in all I would say if your on the fence about these you should just go for it!

I ’ ve worn them for everything from ag field days to foraging herbs in the woods, to the steam threshers event, to going to the grocery store. I love these Merrells. They are sturdy, stable and feel like a running shoe. This is my 3rd pair. I have these also in a wide and is a low quarter version. I use them for hiking, dog walking in the rain and snow and walking around our land. I have used them in pouring rain and my feet stayed dry. I dont think they are sturdy enough for heavy backpacking but for a light day pack, no problem. Size wise I usually wear a 9. 5 in running and training shoes and I ordered a 10 in these and they were good. I prefer the wide version though as it gives me just a bit more toe box room, not necessarily extra width but roomier. I am hoping these will break in enough to be as comfortable as the wider version. But a great comfortable boot overall.

My first Georgia boot 😀. I ’ m 9 1/2 wide and these fit well. The collar was uncomfortable at first. They have traction in mud, snow, slush, but, not so much on ice. The waterproof feature is great to keep feet warm and dry. I have a hard time with shoes fitting and not falling apart. Only had a month but so far I ’ m very happy. I love the way they look and the colors. I wear work boots often and will be looking into Georgia brand( wide width, nice colors, and stylish, please). I bought these on sale. Only gripe they could use a little more padding but if they don ’ t fall apart I ’ ll buy more.

I have problem feet and have for years. Basically I ’ m flat footed and have bunions on both feet. Shoes with too high of an arch built in cut into my foot and throw my foot off to the opposite side of the shoe. These have just enough of an arch to give me support and also are just wide enough to float over my bunions, never irritating them. I have all colors of these.
