[ Aside from looking like a regular pair of training shoes, these are amazing on the trails! The tread is light enough to be able to run short distances( I ’ ve done about 5 miles mostly incline so far), but also grips and helps with stability on uneven dirt paths. The insoles are comfortable and can be worn on walks and while running errands. They also blend in perfectly with a gym or athleisure outfits which is my favorite part about them. Only “ con ” I have noticed so far is that they feel a little tight in the vamp area( I have pretty narrow feet)- hoping a little wear and tear and fixing the laces a little more will help.

Ever see the character, Tigger, from the Winnie the Pooh stories? He literally bounces with every step! That ’s how you will feel with these shoes. I bought the shoes because we own 2 large Golden Doodles who need to go outside or be walked several times a day. Sometimes we run. These shoes have gone thru mud, snow, puddles, and more, and never missed a beat. My feet stayed dry and I just rinsed the shoes upon returning inside and good as new. I normally wear a 7. 5, but sized up to an 8 and the fit is perfect. I really like the extra room in the toebox, so I can wiggle my toes. However, the shoes do tend to run a bit narrow, so just a heads up if you have a wide foot. The shoes easily accomodated my orthotic once I pulled out the insole provided.( Hey, Nike, these shoes should have a unglued, easily removable, insole!) Overall, I am thrilled with my purchase.

The Zegama 2 has so far been a great shoe. My search for a shoe like this began when my Pegasus 4 GTX's finally hit the retirement cycle of shoes. The Pegasus 4 GTX's were some of the( if not the top) most comfortable shoes that I had ever had while also being capable of light outdoor activities. My instinct was to replace them with the Pegasus 5 GTX's. After exchanging sizes several times, I finally just return the 5's. They were just too tight, did n't fit right, and created a lot of foot pain. I decided to try the Zegama 2's. I actually had my eye on them during my transition from the Pegasus 4's!. These things remind me of the o'so comfortable Pegasus 4 GTX's. The Zegama 2's offer great bounce, support, and comfort! The grip is incredible too, it simply rocks. I play a lot of disc golf and these things have held true in any condition that I 've been in, wet, dry, muddy, slippery, you name it. Also, running any sort of distance in these feels great. They provide great bounce and support. I have n't ran a particularly long distance in them, maybe around 4 miles so far, which felt great and natural. I would n't second guess doubling that mileage or more. Overall these are great. Do n't think twice, grab a pair!.

These are great hybrid trail shoes. They do a lot of things pretty well for mild- moderate terrain and feel like a road shoe with minimal break in. I found the Caldera 7 to be too boxy and the Cascadia 18 made my third toe go numb. I have worn the Divide for training and in road- to- trail races in good weather conditions and in the rain. The only bummer was performance in red clay- but I was able to release the debris quickly enough with a quick scrape on a tree stump and keep moving. The lugs aren ’ t aggressive, but this IS a hybrid shoe and red clay cakes on everything. The Divide 5 was an improvement on the 4 with more added cushioning and I keep both models in my rotation. True to size as other Brooks( Glycerin 21, Ghost 15, Trace 3). I hope Brooks keeps this model as it fills a nice sweet spot for its versatility.

With a more durable toe box material and full rubber sole, these are improved from a materials standpoint over the 14. The bright green looks great—quite like the photo, so no surprise there. Fit and feel is about the same as the 14—it ’s a mid+ cushion shoe, on the narrow- ish side of the market. It ’s got a buoyant feel, without being too bouncy or overly squishy. Runs nicely, but I ’ m not wowed by this shoe. I have a low volume foot, and running shoes generally feel a little sloppy on me. So far, they have no `` hot spots ''. I normally wear a size 6. I bought a size 6. They fit true to size. My pinky toe( the usual blister spot) has no complaints. The toe box is comfortable- not too sloppy or tight. The heel( mine is a tad narrow) is also feeling happy with the width. My ankle bones are picky and a bit thin- skinned, so that was my hesitation on getting taller boots. I 've worn them several miles, and for several days, all day, and there's no hot spots on the ankle either. The stone color is pretty, and I love the contrast with the lavender colored laces. The laces are easy to change out. The boots are light weight, so your legs do n't get tired. It has n't rained, so I ca n't attest to the waterproof- ness of these, but the tongue is attached almost to the top- about where the eyelets change to hooks. The tongue is padded. I wore my zero cushion wool socks with these and my feet were warm and comfy all day.

I have been wearing Calderas for my running/walking for about 7 years. I go five miles a day six days a week on gravel roads. These shoes hold up well and are so comfortable. I do not feel the rocks through the soles. In the winter I wear them in snow and on ice. I buy two pair at a time and rotate wearing them. I like these shoes for my workouts, no complaints at all.

Super comfortable trail shoe. Had a previous version and still wear them even though they are wearing out. Love the orange color. The sole is great for pavement or trail. I ’ m no longer running due to a back injury and 2 bionic hips. But I use them as every day shoes due to a longer lasting sole and a more comfortable fit than a street running shoe.

I play on a men ’s softball tournament team and bought these trail runners to wear when I play. First time out wearing them I played in 10 softball games over 3 days. My feet felt great after each day of games and the shoes gave me great traction playing the field, running, and hitting.
