I was a little skeptical at first due to the price but you know what they say, you get what you pay for. It is worth every penny! It's great to work and dig into muscle. I started working out again and my hip was killing me. I do have hip dysplasia and my trainer recommended me to use this before and after my workouts at the gym. Well, I decided to purchase one so I could use it at home since it helped so much when I was at the gym. I continued to use it whenever my hip pain flared up again it definitely helps more than taking Advil or pain relievers. Warning though, you definitely have to have to roll right on the area that is the root of the pain. It will seem to hurt more for a bit but then subside. I also use this for my back. The ball gets in really deep in the muscles. I always end up having stiff shoulders and a stiff neck and I 've been using the ball for a while. It helps so much and especially with the patterns too.

I have low back pain arthritic. So before I workout I use this to help relieve and stretch the tension. Plus I have tight hips and that helps with stretching before I run and play ball. This was 1 of the first things I bought from trigger point after a friend recommended it. I was so upset because I was working on some really bad back knots, and it was too soft. So I ordered the blk grid ball which is great. But now i 've realized you really have to have both. This is great for the neck or a muscle that is in really bad shape, etc. I think it's a must have for your fitness equipment.
