Superior cushioning and forefoot strike flexibility compared to my pairs of Nimbus 25& 26, and they are indeed better for both LR and tempo runs. Cushioning felt superb during 16+ mile long runs and feet/legs were far less sore the day after LRs until this shoe accumulated about 250 miles. Currently at 325 miles and cushioning is still ok and better than my newer Nimbus 26. I will try running in them during recovery runs after 350 miles.

I ’ ve bought Reebok Nano 6 ’s for years and they ’ ve been great for CrossFit workouts. I recently switched to more HIIT workouts and really felt the need for more cushioning- especially going from box jumps to sprints and more. I bought the metcons in both 8. 5( my normal size) and 9 ’s as people said to size up. They were comfortable and had more cushioning yet the same stability as my metcons but the sizing was a bit weird. My normal size felt a little bit tighter/smaller but the 9 ’s felt huge. I stuck with my normal size and did my first HIIT workout and they were SOLID. Super comfortable, stable for heavy lifts, and most importantly didnt feel tight. Definitely my new favorite shoe. Well. I bought 4 pairs. These are everything I was hoping for. Essentially a springy, barefoot run with great energy return. All have worn well unless I try to take them off without undoing the laces, or scrape them on concrete. I wear mine daily. I have narrow feet with exceptionally high arches. As for this model compared to the Alphafly 2 and original…they improved them tremendously. They are snug without pressure, better foam profile, and the lacing system doesn ’ t untie easily. My first run in these AF3s was a shakeout before a half marathon. Was concerned as the shoes squeaked for about 2. 5 miles but that finally subsided. Have run 2 half marathons in these- each time was PR by 4 minutes. Best thing for me is the low volume toe box. I have narrow, low volume feet. The VF3s are way too baggy in the toe box for me. These are the most comfortable golf shoes I have found. They have a wide toe box that accommodates `` older '' feet. They fit better for me than other New Balance golf shoes of the same size. My only reservation is that they are soft spikes rather than a waffle sole but I can live with that. Hope New Balance continues to make them!

I tried these shoes for the first time yesterday and was very impressed by the fit and comfort. I wore the shoes indoors a few times prior to wearing them for golf, so they had an only a small amount of “ break in. ” Some other brand ’s golf shoes were too tight in the toe box and my toes were sore after my rounds. The New Balance felt very comfortable both walking and during my swings.

I love the wide toe box of Altras but needed a bit more cushioning in the front. These shoes have it! Super cushioned at the heel/ankle as well so it makes it tight but I like it. The curvature makes an easy flow for walking or running.

Awesome shoe! Tongueless upper is amazing. Heel fit nice and snug. Good cushion and a very reactive feel. You roll thru foot strike easily! Like the VP and Zoom Fly These are RUNNING shoes, not walking shoes. Sure you can walk in them but they wont feel quite as spectacular.

Well. I bought 4 pairs. These are everything I was hoping for. Essentially a springy, barefoot run with great energy return. All have worn well unless I try to take them off without undoing the laces, or scrape them on concrete. I wear mine daily. I have narrow feet with exceptionally high arches. As for this model compared to the Alphafly 2 and original…they improved them tremendously. They are snug without pressure, better foam profile, and the lacing system doesn ’ t untie easily. Oh, and they look cool. Final assessment- for a daily 5k- ❤️👍🏻💨
