I bought these boots about 4 months ago as a dress/casual boots as I was wearing Irish Setter Ashby 83908( a Union IW wearing safety toes, 100% BS right?). Well I was moved to another crew and was walking Iron and need a pair of lace ups. These boots have exceeded all expectations. The have been subjected to climbing columns, welding, cutting torches, and grinders( cut off wheels, tiger paws, and grinding rocks.) I wear these boots everyday for 18 hours+ from 4: 30 A. M. to about 10: 30 P. M. when I finally get to bed. I have walked 5+ miles a day( sometimes up to 15 miles a day) in them and the just keep going.
